With 110+ members, representing over 100,000 social entrepreneurs, the Global Alliance is the largest multi-stakeholder coalition for social entrepreneurship, focused on mobilising the private and public sector to support social entrepreneurship and innovation. Before joining the Forum, Daniel was Managing Director at Yunus Social Business (YSB), an impact investing fund for social businesses in Latin America, Africa and India, co-founded by Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Muhammad Yunus. Duccio is Lead Data Scientist within the Early Warning and Forecasting Unit for the World Food Program (WFP) - bolstering humanitarian crisis responses to save and change lives. Since training in Theoretical Physics at La Sapienza and gaining a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Imperial College London, Duccio has worked as a Data Scientist across academia, startups and international organizations, with a specialization in applying machine learning and data-driven approaches to tackling global challenges, such as food security and sustainability.
